Cucumbers can be rolled up for the winter with a variety of vegetables. The first thing that comes to mind are tomatoes, onions, peppers and similar familiar combinations. How about showing a little imagination? For example, I suggest cooking excellent cucumbers with beets.

Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pre-soak cucumbers for a couple of hours in cold water.
Cut the beetroot into slices.
Put everything in a clean, dry jar. Add bay leaf, pepper and garlic.
Pour boiling water and leave for 10 minutes under the lid.
Drain this water, add sugar, salt and vinegar to it, and boil again.
Pour back and roll up the blank.
