It turns out that there are many recipes adapted for fasting and most of the dishes turn out no worse than the original. A great example of this is the lean honey cake. Try to cook it and you will surely be surprised by the results.
Ingredients
- Powdered milk (coconut) – 3 tbsp.l.
- Rice flour - 3 art.l.
- Powdered sugar - 120 g
- Water - 600 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix water, honey, salt and sugar in a bowl. Put it in a water bath and warm it up, stirring frequently.
Pour in the soda, stir and wait for the reaction to end.
Remove the bowl from the water bath, pour in the oil and mix.
Pour in the sifted flour, vanilla and knead the dough.
Divide the dough into 6 parts, cover with cling film and put it in the refrigerator for half an hour.
Roll out a thin cake from each blank, pierce it with a fork in several places and carefully transfer it to a covered baking sheet. Bake for 4-5 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees. Repeat the steps with the remaining test.
Mix half of the water with powdered sugar and bring to a boil over low heat.
Separately mix the remaining water with flour and dry coconut milk.
Pour the billet into the boiling syrup, stirring continuously.
Boil to the desired thickness. Remove the finished cream from the heat and cool.
Assemble the honey cake by smearing the cakes with cream. Top the cake with the remnants of cream and decorate with prepared crumbs.
