Is it dark and cold outside the window? It's time to please the family with a bright Rainbow cake. The multi-colored dessert will surprise not only with its appearance, but also with its taste. On top of the cake, you can decorate with beautiful candies, chocolate drops or confectionery sprinkles.
Ingredients
- Flour - 300 g
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Butter - 150 g
- Milk - 5 tbsp.l .
- Food coloring (different colors) – 6 pieces
- Baking powder - 2 tsp.
- Sugar - 150 g
- Salt - 0,25 tsp.
- White Chocolate - 100 g
- Cream (33% fat content) – 200 g
- Confectionery sprinkling - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Rub softened butter with sugar until white.
Add eggs one at a time, beating continuously with a mixer.
Add flour mixed with baking powder, salt, pour in warm milk. Whisk everything together for 2-3 minutes.
Divide the dough into 6 parts and color each according to the instructions on the package.
Cover the shape of a suitable diameter with parchment paper.
Pour in the dough of the same color and bake in a preheated oven for 20-25 minutes. Check the readiness with a wooden skewer.
Repeat the steps with the rest of the dough, changing the baking paper each time.
Heat half of the cream in a water bath, but do not boil.
Pour in the broken white chocolate and mix until completely dissolved.
Add the remaining half of the cream, mix well and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Beat the cold cream with a mixer until the desired consistency is obtained.
Assemble the cake on a wide plate, observing the sequence of colors of the rainbow. Lubricate each cake with cream.
Lubricate the top and sides of the cake with cream, sprinkle with pastry sprinkles and send it to soak in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
