Do you like simple homemade cakes? Then you will definitely like the recipe for sour cream with poppy seeds. To simplify the task, buy ready-made poppy seeds in the store. It is usually sold in the departments next to vanilla sugar and baking powder.
Ingredients
- Flour - 320 g
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Sour cream - 200 g
- Milk - 500 ml
- Mac - 150 g
- Sugar - 4 art.l.
- Butter - 20 g
- Baking soda - 1 tsp.
- Salt - on the tip of the knife
- Sour cream - 500 g
- Powdered sugar - 1 glass
- Corn Starch - 1 art.l.
- Vanillin - at the tip of the knife
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Pour milk over the poppy seeds and simmer for 15 minutes.
Remove from heat, add butter and puree with an immersion blender.
Beat eggs with sugar and salt.
Add sour cream, soda and mix well.
Add the blank with poppy seeds, flour and mix again.
Put the dough in a greased form and bake for 45 minutes at 180 degrees. Depending on the diameter of the mold used, the cooking time may vary.
Cool the finished cake and cut it across into two identical parts.
Beat the cooled sour cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
Add starch and stir.
Assemble the cake by smearing the cakes with cream.
Lubricate the sour cream with the remnants of the cream on top and from the sides. Put it in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
