What to cook for dessert? Bake an orange cheesecake! The cake consists of cookies and butter, and the basis of the airy filling is Philadelphia cheese, cream and eggs. The finished cake must be left to cool in the oven, otherwise it will crack.
Ingredients
- Orange - 1 piece
- Orange peel - 2 tbsp.l.
- Orange juice - 150 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Cream - 120 ml
- Philadelphia Cheese - 800 g
- Sugar - 120 g
- Starch - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the cookies in a blender.
Add the nutmeg, melted butter and mix.
Put the resulting mass on the bottom of the split mold, lightly tamping. Bake for 10 minutes at 190 degrees.
Mix cheese, sugar, starch, zest, orange and lemon juice.
Add all the eggs one by one and mix well. I do not advise using a mixer, otherwise the workpiece will become liquid.
Pour in the cream and mix everything carefully again.
Put the filling in the mold on the baked base and smooth it out.
Bake for 10 minutes at 200 degrees, and then another 60 minutes at 120 degrees. Be sure to put a container of water on the bottom of the oven.
Do not remove the finished cheesecake from the oven until it cools completely. Then separate with a knife from the mold, carefully transfer to a dish and put it in the refrigerator overnight.
In the morning the next day, cut the orange into beautiful circles and put it on top of the cheesecake.
