The traditional sour cream cake that you most often meet in your favorite coffee shops is a two–color cake with white and chocolate cakes. That's what we'll cook ourselves today. In fact, everything is very simple!
Ingredients
For cakes:
- Chicken eggs - 4 pieces
- Sugar - 1 glass
- Flour - 1 glass
- Vanillin - 1 pinch
- Cocoa - 2 tsp.
For cream:
- Sour cream - 400 g
- Powdered sugar - 100 g
- Citric acid - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Separate the whites and whisk them to a froth.
Continuing to beat, gradually add sugar, and then the yolks.
Add the sifted flour, mix the dough with a spatula and divide in half.
Add vanilla in half, and cocoa in the second.
Bake both cakes in the oven for about 15-20 minutes at 180 degrees.
When the cakes are cool, cut them in half.
Beat sour cream, powdered sugar and citric acid with a mixer.
Assemble the sour cream and send it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
