This dessert can be enjoyed even by those who carefully count calories. Gooseberry pastille is prepared without sugar, flavorings and other harmful additives. You do not need to cook berry puree, just put it in a thin layer on a covered baking sheet and dry it.

- Gooseberry - 1 kg
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the gooseberry berries in a blender.
Rub the resulting mass through a sieve to get rid of the peel and seeds.
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper, brush with vegetable oil and put the gooseberry puree. The optimal layer thickness is about 5 mm.
Dry for 6-8 hours in the oven at a temperature of 65 degrees. I recommend keeping the door ajar all this time.
Separate the finished pastille from the paper, roll it into a tight roll and cut it.
