Do you like unusual combinations of flavors? Then prepare a pastille "Salted caramel". To work, you will need a saucepan with a thick bottom, baking paper and products according to the list. You can dry the dessert in an electric dryer, in the oven or directly in the sun.
Ingredients
- Cream (33% fat content) – 350 ml
- Butter - 70 g
- Sugar - 350 g
- Sea salt - 1 tsp.
- Water - 90 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
In a small saucepan, mix water with sugar.
Bring to a boil over low heat and cook until dark brown. No need to stir the syrup.
Add the butter and only then stir.
In a separate bowl, bring the cream to a boil.
Add hot cream and salt to a saucepan with syrup.
Boil the mass over low heat for 7-10 minutes.
Put the thick mass on the bottom of a baking sheet covered with baking paper. The optimal layer thickness is 0.5-1 cm.
Dry for 6 hours in the oven at 65 degrees with the door ajar.
Separate the pastille from the paper, cut and roll.
