Try this recipe and you will no longer buy vanilla marshmallows in the store. You will see from your own experience that the dessert is prepared very simply and from affordable products. If you want to make colored marshmallows, add a little food coloring.
Ingredients
- Sugar - 800 g
- Gelatin - 15 g
- Water - 300 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tsp.
- Baking soda - 0,5 tsp.
- Vanilla Extract - 2 drops
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Gelatin pour 100 ml of cold water and put aside for 10 minutes.
In a saucepan, mix the remaining water with sugar and boil for 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add the billet with gelatin and beat with a mixer for 5-7 minutes. The mass should turn white and greatly increase in volume.
Cover with a lid, put aside for 5 minutes, then beat again with a mixer at high speed for 5 minutes.
Add soda, lemon juice and vanilla extract. Beat for another 3-5 minutes.
Cover the baking sheet with baking paper and lightly sprinkle with water. With the help of a cooking syringe, remove the marshmallows. Dry for 24 hours at room temperature.
Carefully separate the finished vanilla marshmallow from the paper and connect it in pairs.
