Unlike many diets built on restrictions, the keto diet is actually quite diverse. And all because a variety of recipes can be adapted for it. Including cakes. I even make such a chocolate keto cake just for a change, without any diets.
Ingredients
For cakes:
- Almond flour - 3 glasses
- Cocoa - 4 tbsp.l.
- Baking powder dough - 3 tsp.
- Salt - 1 tsp.
- Water - 0.6 glasses
- Chicken eggs - 5 pieces
- Sugar substitute (erythritol) – 0.5 cup
- Vanilla Extract - 2 tsp.
For cream:
- Cocoa - 0.5 glasses
- Cream cheese - 225 g
- Butter - 0.25 glasses
- Sugar substitute (erythritol) – 1.5 glasses
- Vanilla Extract - 1.5 tsp.
- Milk - 2-4 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Mix the dry ingredients for the dough.
Whisk eggs with vanilla extract and water with a whisk.
Combine both masses, mix the dough, divide in half and bake two cakes in the oven at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
Let the cakes cool on the grill.
Whisk all the ingredients for the cream with a mixer. If it is very thick, add more milk.
Smear the cakes with cream and assemble the cake. Send it to the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
