One of my favorite pastille recipes is this version of pumpkin and apples. Firstly, it turns out very tasty and healthy. Secondly, it is easy to prepare and hardens well, because apples are rich in pectin. Finally, it has a wonderful appetizing color and aroma.
Ingredients
- Pumpkin - 1 kg
- Apples - 400 g
- Water - 100 ml
- Sugar - 1-2 tbsp.l .
- Ground cinnamon - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and dice the pumpkin and apples.
Send them to different saucepans, add a little water and simmer until soft.
Grind everything in a blender, mix the puree and add sugar and spices to taste.
Put the puree in a thin layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment.
Bake the pastille until ready for about 5 hours in a slightly open oven at a minimum temperature.
