Phali made of greenery instantly attract attention with its bright color alone. And thanks to the nuts and spices in the composition, the taste is no less impressive. When serving, I prefer to decorate these Georgian balls with pomegranate seeds.
Ingredients
- Spinach - 500 g
- Onion - 200 g
- Walnuts - 100 g
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Cilantro - 0.5 beam
- Parsley - 3 twigs
- Chili pepper (green) – 1 pod
- Wine vinegar - 20 ml
- Salt - 1 pinch
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the spinach in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, put it in a colander and dry it on paper towels.
Chop onion, garlic, cilantro, parsley and chili pepper.
Pass the spinach with nuts through a meat grinder or grind in a blender.
Mix all the ingredients, add spices and wine vinegar, and form balls.
