In our family, such a dish is often prepared for winter holidays. The liver roll from beef liver should have time to brew in the refrigerator, so you have to do it the night before. Sometimes I use colored pita bread for a change.
Ingredients
- Beef liver - 600 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Cream - 2 tbsp.l .
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l .
- Butter - 60 g
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
- Lavash (thin) – 2 of the sheet
- Water - 2,5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the beef liver and place it in a saucepan.
Fill with cold water and boil for 30 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Put the liver on a plate and cool.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Put the liver, fried onion and butter in the blender bowl. Grind to a homogeneous consistency.
Add salt, ground pepper, cream and turn on the blender for another 2 minutes.
Spread the pita bread on the table, lay out a thick layer of liver paste and smooth it out.
Roll up the roll, cover with plastic wrap and put it in the refrigerator for 6 hours.
