Beans are rich in vegetable protein, so dishes made from them give a feeling of satiety for a long time. Include a pate of red beans in your diet, and you will forget about the frequent snacks that spoil the figure so much. Consider this a small step on the way to a healthy diet.

Ingredients

  • Red Beans (dry) – 500 g
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Onion - 2 pieces
  • Olive oil - 30 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 art.l.
  • Paprika - 0,5 tsp.
  • Thyme - 0,5 tsp.
  • Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
  • Salt (without slide) – 1 tsp.
  • Water - 3 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Pre-soak the red beans for 4 hours in cold water.

Flip into a colander, rinse and fill with fresh water. Boil for 40 minutes from the moment of boiling.

Drain the broth into a separate container, remove the beans to cool down.

Peel the onion and garlic from the husk, chop.

Put on a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until golden brown.

Transfer the roast to a saucepan with beans, add lemon juice, spices and salt.

Puree with an immersion blender until smooth. If the pate turns out to be dry, add a little of the remaining broth.
