A wonderful snack for a festive feast and for every day. Classic herring pate can be served with boiled potatoes or put in tartlets and garnish with a slice of lemon. It's satisfying, delicious and very simple.
Ingredients
- Herring - 2 pieces
- Onion - 1 piece
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Butter - 100 g
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Ground coriander - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Skin the fish, gut it, cut off the head, tail and fins.
Cut in half lengthwise, remove the ridge and bones, prepare the fillet.
Peel the eggs from the shell and rinse.
Peel and slice the onion.
Put herring, eggs, onion and butter in the blender bowl. Grind to a homogeneous consistency.
Add lemon juice, spices and mix well again.
