It's simply impossible to give up such charming green tomatoes, even if you don't like pickled vegetables. They will look bright and unusual on any table. Especially if you add some herbs and red hot pepper.
Ingredients
- Green tomatoes - 500 g
- Garlic - 0.5 heads
- Hot red pepper - 0.5 pod
- Vinegar (9%) – 0.5 tbsp.l .
- Salt - 0.5 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 tbsp.l.
- Italian herbs - 1 tsp.
- A mixture of peppers with peas - 1 pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut small green tomatoes into halves, and large ones into pieces at your discretion.
Finely chop the garlic and hot pepper.
Put the tomatoes in a container or jars for marinating in layers, alternating with pepper and garlic. Sprinkle with herbs and pepper peas.
Boil a glass of water with salt and sugar, pour in the vinegar and remove the marinade from the stove.
Pour over the tomatoes and leave to cool under an airtight lid. Let them brew at least a day in the refrigerator.
