The first snacks in a similar format appeared in France under King Louis XIV. Nowadays, canapes on skewers do not lose popularity. They are prepared from different ingredients, using the usual combinations of flavors and often experimenting. I offer you one of my favorite options.
Ingredients
- Cherry tomatoes - 20 pieces
- Olives (without pits) – 20 pieces
- Mozzarella (cileggini) – 20 balls
- Parsley - 4 twigs
- Baguette (thin) – half
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the baguette into small pieces.
Put a parsley leaf, an olive, tomatoes, mozzarella and a baguette on a skewer.
Place the canapes on a wide platter and serve.
