I cook homemade hot dogs from time to time. I make the filling different - depending on the wishes of my family. Today I will share with you a simple recipe for a hot dog with hot sauce and cheddar. A great option that can be cooked at any time of the year!
Ingredients
For Hot Dogs:
- Bun - 2 pieces
- Sausages - 2 pieces
- Cheddar Cheese - 100 g
- Butter - 30 g
- Parsley - 1 twig
For the sauce:
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
- Ketchup (sharp) – 4 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop.
Fry the onion in olive oil until golden brown.
Add garlic passed through the press, hops-suneli, hot ketchup and turn off after 1 minute.
In a separate frying pan, melt the butter and fry the sausages.
Grate Cheddar cheese on a fine grater. Finely chop the parsley.
Cut the bun lengthwise, leaving the opposite side intact.
Put the sausage, add the hot sauce, sprinkle with grated cheese and parsley. Repeat the steps with the second bun.
