There are dozens of types of pates, from classic meat to fish. They are also prepared from vegetables, seafood, mushrooms, and anything else. Today I propose to cook a real delicacy – a pate of beef brains. Not too easy, but it's worth it!
Ingredients
- Beef brains - 500 g
- Butter - 2 art.l.
- Sour cream - 70 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Breadcrumbs - 5 art.l.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tbsp.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Remove the film from the brains. Soak them for a day in cold water in a cold place and change the water every couple of hours.
Boil the brains for 15 minutes in salted boiling water.
Grate the onion.
Melt butter in a frying pan, add onion, breadcrumbs, spices and sour cream. Warm everything up together.
Grind the brains with a blender and mix with this mixture.
Put the pate in the molds and put it in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 170 degrees.
