There are many recipes for this popular snack. It is cooked in pita and lavash, with vegetables, pickles, seafood and meat. But I always want to return to my favorite classics. Let's do that today — we'll cook a shawarma with beef.
Ingredients
- Beef (clipping) – 500 g
- Bell pepper - 2 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Cilantro - third of the beam
- Lettuce - 2 sheet
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Soy sauce - 2 tbsp.l.
- Mayonnaise - 1 tbsp.l.
- Ketchup - 2 art.l.
- Mustard - 1 tbsp.l.
- Hop-suneli - 1 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Prepare the beef, rub it on all sides with spices and salt.
Brush with soy sauce, wrap in foil and put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
Cut the meat into large pieces and fry in oil until tender.
Chop the roast beef, lettuce, peeled onion and bell pepper.
Mix mayonnaise, mustard and tomato sauce.
Spread the pita bread on the table and smear with the prepared sauce.
Lay out the beef, vegetables and pieces of salad leaf.
Tuck in the sides and bottom. Roll up the shawarma.
Lightly brown the finished shawarma with beef on the grill.
