In summer, more dishes from fresh vegetables should be added to the lean menu. Among them there must be a lean squash cake. You can cook it according to this recipe. As an experiment, try replacing flour with ground oat flakes.
Ingredients
- Zucchini - 500 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Mayonnaise (lean) – 150 g
- Flour - 200 g
- Starch - 2 tbsp.l.
- Baking soda - 0,5 tsp.
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt (without slide) – 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the zucchini on a grater, and then squeeze slightly to remove excess juice.
Peel and finely chop the onion.
Mix the zucchini, onion, flour, starch, soda, ground pepper and salt.
Spread the dough in small portions on a greased frying pan and fry until golden brown on both sides. Repeat the steps until the dough runs out.
Mix lean mayonnaise and garlic passed through the press. You can add ground pepper, a little coriander or herbs to taste.
Assemble a lean squash cake, generously greasing the cakes with prepared sauce. Decorate at your discretion and refrigerate for a couple of hours.
