This snack is most often prepared for winter holidays. Hearty tartlets with pate fly away instantly. Cranberry berries perform not only a decorative function in the recipe. Their acid favorably emphasizes the main taste of the dish.
Ingredients
For pate:
- Chicken liver - 300 g
- Wine (white) – 3 tbsp.l.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Butter - 50 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Extras:
- Tartlets - 24 pieces
- Cranberries - 24 berries
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.
Melt the butter in a frying pan, add the onion and fry until golden brown.
Add the liver and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Pour in the wine, season with salt and pepper and simmer all together for another 3 minutes.
Turn off the heat, add the butter and puree with an immersion blender.
Cool the pate and put it in tartlets with a pastry syringe.
Garnish with cranberries, put on a plate and serve.
