Onigiri with various fillings is the most popular Japanese snack. In fact, it's just a ball or triangle of rice with beans, fish or seafood inside, but it turns out very tasty and convenient. Today we will cook onigiri with trout.
Ingredients
- Round rice (for sushi) – 1 glass
- Water - 2.5-3 glasses
- Nori - 2 of the sheet
- Trout (lightly salted) – 300 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the rice in water until cooked according to the instructions and leave to brew and steam under the lid.
Cut the trout into small pieces.
Put a layer of rice on the palm of your hand, trout on it, and form onigiri.
Wrap part of the onigiri with a strip of nori.
