It has long been known that the classic liver pate goes well with berry sauce. But in order not to waste time on its preparation, I suggest simply adding cherries. It will be equally good with fresh berries and jam.
Ingredients
For Sandwiches:
- Bread - 2 slices
- Sprouted grains - 20 g
- Cherry (fresh or jam) – 30 g
For pate:
- Chicken liver - 200 g
- Onion - 30 g
- Carrots - 30 g
- Thyme - 0,5 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Butter - 50 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Fry the chicken liver on a piece of butter until tender and let it cool down a little.
Separately fry the onion and grated carrots.
Put the liver, vegetables, remaining oil and all spices in a blender and grind until smooth.
Dry the bread in a dry pan and spread with pate.
Put cherry berries and fresh green sprouts on top.
