I usually cook liquid seasonings to taste, using everything that is at hand. One day, in the course of another experiment, I got an amazing red pizza sauce. I liked the perfect balance of flavors and wonderful aroma so much that I decided to write down the exact recipe.
Ingredients
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Tomato paste - 3 tbsp.l .
- Olive oil - 2 art.l.
- Italian herbs - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 200 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the bell pepper in half, peel the seeds and stalks, finely chop.
Chop the peeled garlic and onion.
Fry the onion and garlic in oil until golden brown.
Add the bell pepper and cook for another 3-5 minutes, stirring frequently.
Mix tomato paste, water, sugar, salt and spices.
Pour the billet into a frying pan with fried vegetables and simmer for 2 minutes.
