This sauce is often mentioned in the world rankings of spicy seasonings. In fact, there are many varieties of Tabasco with different degrees of sharpness. You can make this sauce yourself by adding more or less chili pepper.
Ingredients
- Chili pepper - 200 g
- Tomatoes - 300 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
- Wine vinegar - 2 tbsp.l.
- Sugar - 1 art.l.
- Salt - 1,5 tsp.
- Water - 1 glass
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut the chili pepper in half, peel the seeds and cut into small pieces
Put the pepper in a bowl, pour boiling water and cover for 20 minutes.
Drain the water, leaving about 50 ml.
Put the mass in a blender and grind until smooth.
Peel tomatoes and cut into quarters.
Peel the onion and garlic from the husk, chop into small pieces.
Chop tomatoes, onions and garlic in a blender.
Mix both types of vegetable puree in a saucepan, add salt, sugar, vinegar and oil. Simmer for 8-10 minutes.
