Lovers of lightly salted fish will appreciate this recipe. Delicious herring pate with butter and eggs is traditionally served on a piece of black bread, sprinkled with green onion. It is impossible to store such a snack for longer than 6 hours, so it is better to cook it in small quantities.
Ingredients
- Herring - 1 piece
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 3 pieces
- Butter - 80 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Ground coriander - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the herring from the skin, gut it, cut off the head, tail and fins.
Cut the fish along the spine, remove the bones and separate the fillets.
Peel boiled eggs from the shell and rinse.
Finely chop the peeled onion.
Place the herring fillet, eggs, onion and soft butter in the blender bowl. Grind until smooth.
Sprinkle with ground coriander and mix again.
