For this recipe, I buy chilled liver. It should be maroon in color with a pleasant sweet aroma. Liver pate from chicken liver with butter is prepared using a blender. If it is not present, the workpiece should be passed through the meat grinder twice.
Ingredients
- Chicken liver - 500 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion (medium) – 2 pieces
- Butter - 100 g
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the chicken liver and put it in a saucepan.
Add water, bay leaf and cook for 15 minutes from the moment of boiling.
Flip into a colander and set aside to cool.
Chop carrots and peeled onions.
Put the onion in a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until transparent.
Add the carrots and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
Put the boiled liver, roast, soft butter, salt and pepper in the blender bowl. Grind to a homogeneous consistency.
