And a friend once shared this recipe with me. Surprisingly, such simple products make a very tasty shawarma. I will use turkey in the recipe. By analogy, you can cook with any other type of meat.
Ingredients
- Lavash (thin) – 4 pieces
- Turkey (boiled) – 300 g
- Corn (canned) – 1 bank
- Beans (canned) – 150 g
- Lettuce - 4 leaf
- Parsley - 4 twigs
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Mayonnaise - 120 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp.l.
- Olive oil - 1 art.l.
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put canned corn and beans in a colander, rinse.
Add salt and pepper, add oil, lemon juice and mix.
Chop the turkey, parsley and peeled bell pepper.
Spread the pita bread on the table and smear with a thin layer of mayonnaise.
Put the salad in the center of the lower part of the pita bread, add the turkey, bell pepper and beans with corn.
Turn the sides inside and roll up a tight roll. Repeat the procedure with the remaining pita bread and filling.
Brown the finished shawarma in a dry frying pan on both sides.
