It's easy to cook a delicious shawarma. This does not require special skills and knowledge. The main thing is to use high-quality ingredients that combine well with each other. For example, consider a recipe for shawarma with chicken, bacon and vegetables.
Ingredients
- Lavash (thin) – 4 pieces
- Chicken fillet (boiled) – 200 g
- Bacon - 200 g
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Tomatoes - 250 g
- Bow purple - 1 piece
- Iceberg lettuce (large) – 4 leaf
- Vegetable oil - 1 art.l.
- Mayonnaise - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut chicken fillet, bacon and fry separately in vegetable oil until golden brown.
Chop tomatoes, peeled bell peppers and onions.
Spread the pita bread on the table, brush with a thin layer of mayonnaise and lay out a lettuce leaf.
Add chicken, bacon, tomatoes, bell pepper and onion in rows.
If desired, add a little more mayonnaise to the vegetables themselves.
Gently tuck the pita bread from the sides, and then roll it into a tight roll. Repeat the steps with the rest of the pita bread and filling.
Brown the finished shawarma for a couple of minutes in a dry frying pan on both sides.
