Greens and chili are such a simple set of additives, but they are able to instantly transform any forshmak. I recommend this recipe if you like brighter and more expressive flavors and aromas. It turns out very impressive, but still easy and simple.
Ingredients
- Herring (fillet) – 3 pieces
- White bread - 2 slices
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Apples - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 teeth
- Chili pepper - 2 pieces
- Cilantro - 4 twigs
- Dill - 4 twigs
- A mixture of peppers with peas (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
- Spices and seasonings - 1 tsp.
- Oregano - 0.5 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil hard-boiled eggs and let cool, peel the apple and soak the bread with water.
Coarsely chop the herring and chop it in a blender with bread, eggs, onion and apple.
Add crushed garlic, chopped chili and herbs.
Season the forshmak with all the spices and mix. Add oil if necessary.
