An exquisite dish for a special occasion. I recommend cooking pink salmon liver pate shortly before serving and putting it on a warm plate. The snack should be accompanied by a white baguette and a salad of fresh vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Liver (pink salmon) – 400 g
  • Carrots - 1 piece
  • Onion - 1 piece
  • Vegetable oil (odorless) – 30 ml
  • Ground black pepper - to taste
  • Salt - 5 g
  • Water - 150 ml

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Put the salmon liver on a sieve and rinse under running water.

Put it on the board and pat it thoroughly with a paper towel.

Peel the onion from the husk and finely chop it.

Grate the carrots on a fine grater.

Put the vegetables in a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until soft.

Add the pink salmon liver and cook all together for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add salt, pour in water and simmer under the lid for another 5 minutes.

Transfer the workpiece to the blender bowl, add ground pepper and grind until smooth.
