Mackerel is a very tasty fish. Most often it is salted, pickled and baked whole. I want to add another proven recipe to this list. We are talking about a mackerel roll. Such a dish can be put on a festive table or cooked just like that for lunch.
Ingredients
- Mackerel - 2 pieces
- Bell pepper - 1 piece
- Carrots - 150 g
- Onion - 2 pieces
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l.
- Vegetable oil - 30 ml
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Gut the mackerel, cut off the head, tail and fins.
Make a deep incision, remove the spine and bones.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, sprinkle with lemon juice, set aside for 15 minutes.
Grate the carrots. Peel the bell peppers and onions and chop them.
Fry the vegetables in oil until soft, season with salt and pepper.
Put the fried vegetables on the prepared fillet and roll up the roll.
Fix with a cooking thread, cover and put in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Bake mackerel rolls for 25-30 minutes in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
