Just a couple of spoonfuls of mayonnaise turn forshmak into an even softer and more delicate cream spread. It is not necessary to take fatty mayonnaise – lean or low-calorie will do. And if you want to cook homemade – double the pleasure!
Ingredients
- Herring (fillet) – 500 g
- Mayonnaise - 4 art.l.
- Onion - 1 piece
- Potatoes - 2 pieces
- Chicken eggs - 3 pieces
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the potatoes and eggs until tender. Peel the onion.
Chop coarsely and pass all the ingredients through a meat grinder.
Fill the forshmak with mayonnaise to taste.
