Surprise your family with an unusual Korean carrot. In this recipe, the usual garlic is replaced by asafoetida and there is no burning pepper at all. This snack is perfectly stored in the refrigerator for several days and only gets better over time.
Ingredients
- Carrots - 500 g
- Ginger - 10 g
- Asafoetida - on the tip of the knife
- Wine vinegar - 1,5 tbsp.l .
- Vegetable oil - 40 ml
- Nutmeg (ground) – 0.5 tsp.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
- Salt - to taste
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Grate the carrots on a special grater.
Add salt, sugar, ground nutmeg and mix well.
Heat the vegetable oil strongly in a frying pan and pour it into the carrots.
Peel the ginger and grate it.
Add ginger, vinegar and asafoetida to the carrots. Stir, cover and put away for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
