I just love Korean snacks, and especially Korean–style vegetables. Spicy, savory and at the same time quite easy to prepare, they bring an excellent variety to the daily diet. This time I want to share with you a recipe for chamcha from white cabbage.
Ingredients
- Cabbage - 900 g
- Water - 200 ml
- Salt - 75 g
- Ground red pepper - 20 g
- Garlic - 40 g
- Brown Sugar - 20 g
- Worcestershire sauce - 50 ml
- Green onion - 20 g
- Carrots - 160 g
- Daikon - 150 g
- Onion - 50 g
- Sesame - 20 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Thinly chop the cabbage and rub it with water and salt. Leave it on for 15 minutes. Rinse the cabbage.
Thinly slice the remaining vegetables, garlic and green onions.
Mix Worcestershire sauce, sugar and red pepper. Combine this mass with the vegetables from the previous paragraph.
Add the cabbage and mix everything together.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and let it brew a little.
