It is believed that sugar reveals the taste of cherries and other berries in compote better. But is this really the case, or perhaps it's just a matter of habit? In search of an answer, I propose to cook such a bright, fragrant and incredibly delicious cherry compote without sugar.
Ingredients
- Cherry - 700 g
- Water - 2 l
- Sugar substitute - 1 tbsp.l .
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil the water and add the washed cherries to it.
Cook the compote on low heat for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add a sugar substitute if desired.
