You will need a juicer for this recipe. If it is not there, pass the fruit through a meat grinder, and then fold it into cheesecloth and squeeze. Plum juice, cooked at home, turns out to be many times tastier than what is sold in stores.

Ingredients

  • Plums - 2 kg
  • Sugar - 200 g
  • Water - 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Cut the plums in half and peel the seeds.

Pass the fruit through the juicer.

Fill the plum cake with water and boil for 5 minutes.

Strain the resulting broth and pour it into a larger saucepan.

Add the plum juice, sugar and boil everything together for another 2 minutes.
