I love fresh compotes because you can use literally any berries or fruits in them. And if desired, you can use spices such as cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg to give the cranberry compote an even brighter taste and aroma.
Ingredients
- Lingonberries - 2 glasses
- Water - 1.5 l
- Sugar - 100 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Put the lingonberries in a saucepan and fill with water.
Bring to a boil, add sugar and boil the compote for 5-7 minutes.
Add lemon or lime as desired.
Let the compote brew.
