There is absolutely no need to look for an excuse to pamper the family with an unusual dish. Prepare a salad "Capercaillie's Nest" right today! I suggest replacing quail eggs with cheese balls. The whole cooking process will take no more than 40 minutes.
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet (boiled) – 250 g
- Potatoes (medium) – 3 pieces
- Cucumbers - 200 g
- Onion - 1 piece
- Chicken eggs (boiled) – 2 pieces
- Ground black pepper - to taste
- Salt - to taste
- Mayonnaise - 80 ml
- Vegetable oil (for frying) – 30 ml
- Cheese - 150 g
- Dill - 2 twigs
- Garlic - 2 clove
- Mayonnaise - 1 art.l.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Cut chicken fillet, cucumbers, peeled eggs and onions.
Peel the potatoes, grate on a special grater, rinse and squeeze thoroughly.
Heat the oil in a frying pan, put the potatoes, season with salt and pepper and fry for 8-10 minutes.
Put the potatoes on a paper napkin to remove excess fat.
In a deep bowl, mix the chicken, cucumbers, eggs and onions.
Add salt, ground pepper, mayonnaise and mix well.
Lay out the salad with a slide, sprinkle thickly with fried potatoes and make a small depression.
Grate the cheese on a fine grater, chop the dill.
Mix the cheese with dill, mayonnaise and garlic passed through the press.
Form balls from the cheese mass and put them in the prepared recess.
