Red, yellow or black plum is best suited for this recipe. Big and round, not Hungarian. It turns out the perfect combination with currants in taste and color. Nothing needs to be cut or bones removed – very convenient.

Rinse all the ingredients, remove the red currant twigs, and fill with water.

Boil the compote, add sugar and mix.

Boil the compote for 10 minutes over low heat.
