An interesting way to prepare an unusual compote is a mixture of fresh and dried fruits. I'm sharing one of my favorite options. You can strain it through a sieve or colander, or leave it right so that it is even more infused.
Ingredients
- Apples - 3 pieces
- Pear - 3 pieces
- Dried Fruits - 3-4 handfuls
- Sugar - 5-6 tbsp.l .
- Water - 1.5 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the fruit and cut into thin slices.
Fill dry fruits with water, bring to a boil and add sugar. Boil for 3-5 minutes on low heat.
Add fresh fruit, and cook the compote for another 10-15 minutes.
