There are a lot of ways and options to use gooseberries in the kitchen. I am attracted by a quick recipe for gooseberry juice. This is a wonderful drink that refreshes in summer, and in winter it can be drunk hot instead of tea.
Ingredients
- Gooseberry - 300 gr
- Water - 1 l
- Mint - 5 of leaves
- Honey - 3 tbsp.l
- Lemon juice - 2 art.l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Wash the gooseberries under running water. Transfer to a bowl, add mint leaves and pass the berries through a meat grinder.
Strain through a sieve to separate the cake.
Combine the cake with water, add lemon juice, honey and send it to boil over medium heat. As soon as the water boils, strain through a sieve. The cake can be thrown away.
Mix with the juice we got earlier. Pour into a decanter and you can serve it to the table.
