Kvass is considered a healthy drink due to its natural ingredients. It contains a lot of vitamins and useful enzymes, which are especially good for digestion, and for immunity in general. Especially good is this kvass from flax seeds – a familiar and affordable superfood.
Ingredients
- Water - 2.5 l
- Sugar - 300 g
- Black bread - 400 g
- Fresh yeast - 30 g
- Raisins - 100 g
- Flax Seeds - 150 g
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Dry the bread, chop the breadcrumbs, add sugar and pour hot water.
Let the workpiece cool to 35-40 degrees, add the raisins and yeast, and stir until dissolved.
Add the crushed flax seeds and leave the kvass to infuse for 2 days in a warm dark place under the lid.
If desired, add more sugar, strain the kvass and bottle.
