One of the amazing curiosities in my recipe book is a compote of fresh sorrel. Don't be surprised by this idea. Sour greens are actually perfect for this task. And how to cook it properly – I will tell you in detail further.

Ingredients

  • Sorrel - 200 g
  • Sugar - 150 g
  • Water - 1 l

Step-by-step cooking recipe

Rinse and dry the sorrel.

Remove the stems and chop it arbitrarily.

Add sugar and fill the sorrel with water.

Bring to a boil and boil the compote for 2-3 minutes.

Strain it through a sieve.
