Even if you have not frozen berries in season, you can buy them in almost any store. Prepare a delicious frozen currant juice and treat yourself to a vitamin drink. You can do the same with other berries.
Ingredients
- Red Currant (frozen) – 2 kg
- Sugar - 200 g
- Water - 2 l
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Defrost the currants at room temperature, put them in a colander and rinse.
Chop the berries in a blender or pass through a meat grinder.
Rub the resulting mass through a sieve to remove the peel and seeds.
Add sugar, water and boil for 3-5 minutes. Cool the juice to room temperature and put it in the refrigerator to infuse.
