What to do if you are on PP, and it is not possible to replace mayonnaise in the recipe? There is a way out: prepare the “right” mayonnaise yourself. Just keep in mind that it does not contain preservatives, which means you need to use it immediately after cooking.
Ingredients
- Chicken eggs - 2 pcs.
- Olive oil - 5 ml
- Sour cream (15%) – 100 g
- Salt - pinch
- White pepper (ground) – pinch
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Boil hard-boiled eggs, then cool and peel. Separate the yolks, mash them slightly with a fork and place them in the bowl of a blender.
Add sour cream and olive oil to the yolks, season with salt and pepper to taste. Whisk everything again until smooth. Homemade PP mayonnaise is ready! Serve PP mayonnaise with your favorite dishes or use it for salad dressing.
