There are several variations of tkemali, which may differ in texture, taste and ingredients. Classics are a plum, but this does not mean that you need to limit yourself only to it. For example, I really like apple tkemali, so I'm happy to share my favorite recipe with you.
Ingredients
- Apples - 1 kg
- Garlic - 50 g
- Bell pepper - 100 g
- Chili pepper - 1 piece
- Parsley - 30 g
- Dill - 30 g
- Salt - 1 art.l.
- Sugar - 1 tsp.
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel and slice the apples. Add a little water and simmer until soft.
Chop the apples into puree.
Chop both types of pepper, garlic and herbs in a blender.
Mix all the ingredients and boil the tkemali for another 10-15 minutes.
