Did you know that you can make French bisque sauce from shrimp shells? This is a very profitable recipe, which diligent housewives enjoy with pleasure. Sometimes cream and pieces of seafood are also added, but I suggest starting with a simpler version.
Ingredients
- Shrimp (shells) – 350 g
- Carrots - 1 piece
- Onion - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Wine - 100 ml
- Olive oil - 2 tbsp.l.
- Tomato paste - 2 art.l.
- Lemon zest - 1 tsp.
- Oregano - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 50 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Chop the carrots, peeled garlic and onion.
Fry the vegetables in oil until golden brown.
Add shrimp shells, lemon zest, tomato paste, wine, water, spices and salt. Simmer for 45 minutes on low heat.
Puree the resulting mass with an immersion blender until smooth.
