For the first time I had a chance to try nut sauce for meat at a neighbor's. She told me all the details of cooking and now I am happy to share the recipe with you. Please note that sour cream should have a fat content of at least 25%.
Ingredients
- Walnuts - 150 g
- Garlic - 3 clove
- Onion - 1 piece
- Sour cream (at least 25% fat content) – 150 ml
- Vegetable oil - 2 art.l.
- Nutmeg - 0,5 tsp.
- Ground black pepper - 0,5 tsp.
- Salt - 0,5 tsp.
- Water - 150 ml
Step-by-step cooking recipe
Peel the onion from the husk, chop it.
Put on a preheated frying pan with oil and fry until transparent.
Add water, salt, sour cream and simmer for 2 minutes.
Chop the nuts and fry separately in a frying pan.
Pour nuts, spices and garlic passed through the press into the preparation with sour cream. Simmer for 1 minute and remove from heat.
